Hooking of Office2007 GetOpenFileName/GetSaveFilename ...

Hi,

I´ve the task to insert a Button into all Office2007 OpenFile/SaveFile Dialogs... is it possible to use EasyHook for Hooking

the API and redirecting the GetOpenFileName/GetSaveFileName calls from Office Apps into own Handlers? I used

common Hooks (SetWindowsHookEx( bla, ... ), but they don´t work for the Office2007 Dialogs... only old style Dialogs get hooked...

A comparison on Classnames doesn´t work eather, because all of the Dialogs have the className #32770.

Does anybody have any experiences on that topic ... ?

Office do not use the common open and save dialog.  It draws its own dialog.

You may develop some office add-in (COM) to achieve.  I saw some DMS client use this approach.

Although I said some, I mean one... :)

It is the old IBM Domino.Doc desktop enabler.  It replaced the standard office open/save dialog with its own so that users can open/save directly to the DMS.
